Fortnite Season 4 Coming Tomorrow – What Will the New Season Bring?

Season 4 Starts Tomorrow, May 1st!

This morning Epic Games announced that tomorrow will be the premiere of Season 4 of Fortnite: Battle Royale! The announcement comes after many such teases over the last few weeks. New skins, tiers and achievements will be arriving on the last remnants of Earth. But more than that, Epic is going to be altering the very game itself. There will be quite a few changes. But of course, nothing that impacts the fantastic gameplay that has made Fortnite such a pleasure.

New Skins, Bling and Possibly Mini-Games

Hidden among those silhouettes on the preview image is a brand new skin. Could that be the brand new Tier 100 Skin for Season 4? It certainly looks like it. The most recent Tier 100 Skin was the Reaper. A designed lovingly based on John Wick. Well, by the looks of it Epic is doing something similar. The design bears a striking resemblance to a certain murderous robot that became a not-so-murderous robot played by a famous Austrian-American Actor and Politician.

Players can expect quite a few cosmetic updates in the next Season. Terminator-inspired costumes aside, Epic has already teased some Superhero themed items that are in the works. Especially exciting considering just how popular the worlds of Caped Crusaders and Superpowered Vigilantes seem to be these days.

But it looks like the game is getting a few fun touch-ups as well. The Battle Pass has already implemented new collectibles and mini-games in the world of Fortnite. The developer will probably have a few more such surprises ready for the players in Season 4.

Comet Striking Dusty Depot – Other Map Updates

That comet is going to make toast out of something. That “something” is probably going to be the Dusty Depot. It might not be the only update to the Fortnite map, but it will likely be the area to undergo the biggest changes. Epic could just replace it with a brand new area of town. There’s also a good chance the Depot won’t be the only place to be altered. Expect a few tweaks and updates around most cities and towns. Game Modes might also undergo a few changes.

Epic has hinted at the fact that 50v50 won’t be a permanent mainstay in Fortnite. It’s probably just an experiment for something bigger and better. As anyone who’s played 50v50 knows, it isn’t as fun as it should be. Oftentimes it’s a one-sided game. As soon as any team has a few more Squadmates than the other, the match is all but finished. There’s no competition in 40 players hunting down 10.

Hopefully, Epic introduces a new and more refined mode to replace it. German Data-Miners have already found a new “solo” gameplay mode entitled, Impact.

There’s no news yet on a new Multiplayer mode. But Epic always like to surprise the fans.

A Bright Future

Fortnite: Battle Royale has already taken the gaming world by storm. And yet, Epic Games is still making changes and updates to refine and already fantastic product. Ensuring that thousands and thousands of fans across multiple platforms will be enjoying their game. Whether you play for free or are a proud owner of the Battle Pass, there’s so much fun to be found in this game that Season 4 is one of the most anticipated updates of the year. To any game.

Tomorrow will provide the definitive answers to all of the questions fans have about the future of the game. But needless to say, it’s going to be a doozy of a new Season. Epic hasn’t disappointed us yet.

Expect this marvelous game to only get better.
